The race that started it all for Float. 6 finishes between the coaches, you know we’ve got you covered for almost every inch of this route!
Our Float Lavaredo Ultra Trail 120km training plan is built specifically for this tough race which throws a hefty 5,800m D+ at you whilst running in the beauty of the Dolomites mountains.
An 11pm start time brings sleep deprivation and night running to the table, we've been there and done it, so we’ll have you prepped for this! Other race specific intricacies and tips are also covered as your training progresses.
The 14-week plan comprises BASE, BUILD, PEAK and TAPER blocks with sufficient rest and recovery built in to avoid injury. We've included sufficient speed work to build your aerobic engine, uphill repeats with downhill bursts too, conditioning the legs not just to handle the long uphill sections but enable them to handle the final downhill quad busting 10k of the course.
We aim to have you physically peaking and at your best, going into the race, and have a dedicated race group for any tips, tricks and ideas you and your fellow runners may have.

Laveredo Ultra Trail 80km
Don't underestimate this race, it sure does pack a punch, peppered with lots of vert and technical terrain with a hefty 4800m D+ over just 80km - on average an 18% steeper overall gradient vs the longer 120k event!
But don’t worry, the Float Lavaredo Ultra Trail Dolomites 80km training program is specifically catered towards this tough ultra.
Our structured 12 week plan comprises BASE, BUILD, PEAK and TAPER blocks with sufficient rest and recovery built in to avoid injury. We’ve included sufficient speed work to build your aerobic engine, uphill repeats with downhill bursts too, conditioning the legs not just to handle the long uphill sections but enable them to handle the final quad busting 10k of the course.

Laveredo Ultra Trail 48km
The Float Lavaredo Cortina Trail by UTMB training program is a race specific plan catering towards this 48km ultra event. Don't underestimate this race, it requires some decent hill strength to tackle the 1,000m Val Travenanzes grind as well as speedwork for those faster flat and technical sections.

You’re on your own for this one… 😉
Hah, not a chance! But real talk, this is a very niche race and distance in the Lavaredo Ultra Trail series, and we know that if you got in, you know what you're doing!
So we haven't created a bespoke plan for this one yet, but there are two options:
1 - drop us a line using the button below and we'll discuss your training personally.
2 - join the 48k plan and dial it back a bit. Again, we would prefer it if you contacted us to discuss this first too, but the principle and training methodology for a 21k race of this stature is similar to the 48k plan, would just need some slimming down.
