A little bit about us...

The Float Running Coaches

We’re a team of 2 dedicated runners with over 30 years and 30,000km running experience logged on track, trail, and tar.

Over the years we've completed more than 100 road and trail races from 10k all the way up to 200 miles all over the world, from local trail races, major marathons, and even managed to bag some big name event finishes to our names along the way.

Having trained for these using professional running coaches and trainers whose full time job it is to run, we found that they don’t often understand that the average person has limited time to exercise and requires hard-hitting quality training that doesn't break the bank!

We’ve also found that training smart is key to enjoying and smashing races, and we want to guide the rest of the running community accordingly.

So we set out to change the way people train, not just using our experience, but also via bagging ourselves running and ultra running coaching qualifications from UESCA to ensure that we're combining our experience with scientific data-based coaching techniques.

So this is what we offer: balanced and tailored race and distance plans accessible to all runners with focused coaching and 100% support to get you the biggest bang for your time and money!

    I dig trails, my wife, dog, Italian chow, beers, and not always in that order! You'll find me mostly in the mountains on random adventures, often lost, and generally just seeing where the trails take me. I try not to take running and racing too seriously, just happy with a finish and a beer at the end.

    Skinny - Head Plan Tester & Tweaker

    I'm always up for a beer or coffee after a run. I tend to spend countless hours planning (time/nutrition sheets) and plotting training and race routes in advance, whether for fun or a race. Thoroughly enjoy ultra distance trail running in particular, more mountains the better!
