You’ll skirt along the foothills of the Mont Blanc massif as this race progresses through snow, mud, technical terrain, stairs, buttery trails, grassy meadows, the MBM90k has it all!

All encompassing views of Mont Blanc as the race name suggests this journey has you run up steep climbs that'll make your legs burn and your heart throb as you criss-cross the gorgeous Chamonix valley and surrounding mountain side.

Our structured 14 week coaching plan comprises of BASE, BUILD, PEAK and TAPER blocks with sufficient rest and recovery built in to avoid injury. We've included sufficient speed work to build your aerobic engine, uphill repeats with downhill bursts too, conditioning the legs not just to handle the long uphill sections but enable them to handle the quad busting descents into the finish in Chamonix.

We aim to have you physically peaking and at your best, going into the race. We also have a dedicated race group for any tips, tricks and ideas you and your fellow runners may have along with almost daily tidbits of information and advice we’ve gained from >33 years of running experience.

The “Flagship of the race weekend”, the original Marathon du Mont Blanc course. This hotly contested event, bringing elite runners from around Europe and the world, has runners skirting along the foothills of the Mont Blanc massif as this race progresses through various terrain with a healthy dose of D+, the MBM42k has it all!

A lung busting climb up Col Des Posettes will test your fitness and undoubtedly make your legs burn and lungs ache with the thinner mountain air and steep terrain as you criss-cross the gorgeous Chamonix valley. The final 12k need stamina and grit to maintain your pace throughout the race, ending in beautiful Chamonix town centre.

You’re on your own for this one… 😉

Hah, not a chance! But real talk, this is a very niche race and distance in the Marathon du Mont Blanc series, and we know that if you got in, you know what you're doing!

So we haven't created a bespoke plan for this one yet, but there are two options:

1 - drop us a line using the button below and we'll discuss your training personally.

2 - join the 42k plan and dial it back just a bit. Again, we would prefer it if you contacted us to discuss this first too, but the principle and training methodology for a 21k race of this stature is similar to the 42k plan, would just need some slimming down.
